We produce bespoke contemporary lighting for modern interior design projects

Our lighting partner is one of the few companies that designs and manufactures fittings in the UK. Based just outside London the team of specialist designers and artisans produce pendants, chandeliers and other bespoke lighting, individually made to meet designers’ specific requirements for luxury residences and hotels, superyachts and restaurants.

The company was established in 1888 and has a proud heritage building on their unique experience and expertise. The focus is very much on the future and using new techniques and materials, alongside the traditional, to produce beautiful custom-made lighting on time and on budget.

We work with designers to find out what is most important to them and their clients, and use the teams’ unique mix of experience and skills to devise bespoke lighting that meets all aesthetic, illumination, engineering, practical and cost requirements. We have an innovative, flexible approach and a unique skill set, with which to focus on quality and attention to detail.

We can help designers communicate their ideas to their clients in a variety of ways to suit individual needs, whether the requirement is for hand drawings, rendered images, CAD files, or prototypes produced using hand carved moulds and hand cast metals. In addition, the recent acquisition of a 3D printer allows for prototyping specific details which saves time and expense, and is invaluable in helping to keep the development process moving swiftly.

Some designers come to us with fully formed plans carefully drawn out with detailed engineering, materials, lamping and finishing specifications. Others have ideas of a lighting concept without knowing if it can be made in the real world at an acceptable price. Some may call on us to re-interpret a light fitting that has inspired them to experiment with styles and materials. We are able to progress all these details into viable lighting solutions and will adapt to suit the conditions of the project.

Much of the bespoke lighting we make can be inspired by past pieces that we have manufactured and is informed by our vast archive and product portfolio, which designers use to stimulate new ideas and creativity. Designers are welcome to come to the factory prior to commissioning us, to talk to the people who will be working on their projects. Or they can visit while their lighting is in production and see it taking shape on the shop floor.
